RFTT Shop Refund & Returns Policy

At Rising From The Township (RFTT), we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our Returns and Refund Policy below.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

• The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
• Clothing, including T-shirts and hoodies, must be returned with all original tags attached and in its original packaging.
• Books must be returned in unused, unread condition and must be free from markings, folds, or damage.
• Proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt, must accompany all returns.

Items that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a refund or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for:

• Gift cards.
• Digital products or downloadable content.
• Books that have been written in, damaged, or show signs of use.
• Clothing that has been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
• Clearance or sale items, unless defective.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order by emailing shop@risingfromthetownship.co.za.

Please include:

• Your order number.
• A description of the issue.
• Clear photographs of the item and its packaging.

Once your claim has been reviewed, we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund where appropriate.

Exchanges

We gladly exchange clothing for a different size, subject to stock availability.

Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery. The item must be returned in its original, unworn condition with all tags attached.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error with the order.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to a defective product or an incorrect order, customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to RFTT.

We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost during transit.
